Get set for Mitzvah Day on Sunday, May 19 as the entire Temple Judea community gathers to put our Jewish values into action! Featuring a Red Cross Blood Drive at 9am, a variety of fun and meaningful tikkun olam activities starting at 10:30am, an 11am panel of volunteer representatives, and donation collections all day, there's something for all ages and stages.

This year, Temple Judea is teaming up with organizations like School on Wheels, Family Rescue Center, LA Jewish Health, Deity Animal Rescue, The Assisted Living Specialist, Red Cross, Hope the Mission, and Reclaim our Vote for a variety of impactful projects. Whether it's stuffing hygiene kits or “Doggie bags”, creating bookmarks or fleece blankets, writing letters to IDF soldiers or voter-outreach postcards, giving blood or packing pencil cases, your contribution matters. Donations of gently used books, travel-sized toiletries, and kid's costumes are appreciated. Adults are invited to explore volunteer opportunities in a special panel from 11am-12pm in the Wiener Library, promoted by Caring Community, and featuring representatives from Sayva, LAUSD, LA Family Housing, LA Jewish Health, Jewish Family Service, and RAC-CA. Let's make a powerful impact together at Temple Judea – see you there!
