Pathways to CitizensHIP program

One of the signature initiatives of Judeans for Justice, Pathways to Citizenship is a social active program focused on started at the behest of Mayor Eric Garcetti.  There are nearly half a million green card holders in Los Angeles. Since the inception of the Pathways program, we've helped over 400 individuals become U.S. citizens.

Pathways to Citizenship works with potential citizens to help them with their application and to teach them what they need to know to become a citizen.  We've created curriculum on naturalization and provide support throughout the application process. We have Spanish classes every Wednesday evening for those lucky enough to be able to take the test in their native language.  The rest of our students have a teacher/mentor that works with them on a one-to-one basis.
Our partnerships with El Proyecto del Barrio, Catholic Charities, and Our Lady of Grace Church are so very important to us.  We are always looking for more volunteers to help with the work we do.
