Step into the world of Temple Judea’s amazing Early Childhood Center, where we’ve just concluded another amazing Summer Camp session. As we eagerly await the return of beloved families and warmly welcome new ones when classes resume in September, it’s a perfect moment to celebrate the magic that our ECC brings to our littlest community members. Under the loving guidance of ECC Director Lisa Whitman, Assistant Director Sari Edber, and Office Manager Susie Pike, our ECC is a treasure trove of dedicated teachers and innovative Jewish programming, crafted with tender care for our youngest gems. It's a place of joy, safety, warmth – and community. 

At Temple Judea, we cultivate a lifelong love for learning and Judaism from the earliest stages. Parents of our littlest learners discover a place of camaraderie and support in the ECC’s Parenting Center. Here, our experienced educators guide babies and their grownups through developmental milestones, fostering lifelong friendships within our synagogue community. And since we cherish the whole child and whole lifecycle, we proudly offer a Grandparent & Me class at our Parenting Center too! 

When the time comes to transition to nursery school, rest assured that our ECC provides a nurturing first-time school experience! That's because our approach is firmly rooted in a play-based approach, which both educators and parents agree is the best way for children to learn and grow. From yoga to cooking, music to art, imaginary play, and the joyous celebrations of Jewish holidays, our programs enrich each child’s development, guided with a gentle hand by experienced and genuinely caring teachers empowered to weave meaningful experiences into every moment. As they journey from Beginner, to Intermediate, and finally, to Gesher, each child is celebrated as a whole person and encouraged to grow into their best selves, all from a foundation instilled with Jewish values.
