Back to Shul: Let the celebration begin!

Say goodbye to summer and hello to a fresh new year at Temple Judea!

Our Back to Shul community celebration is right around the corner, filled with joy, connection, and plenty of spirit!

The festivities kick off Friday, September 5, beginning with a special Play Yard Ceremony. Rabbi Aaronson will share a few words, along with special guests at 4:30pm, followed by the moment we’ve all been waiting for—the official ribbon cutting at 4:50pm!

Then enjoy a sponsored BBQ Shabbat dinner graciously provided by the TJ Brotherhood and Women of Temple Judea. At 6:15pm, we will gather for a warm, family-friendly Erev Shabbat service. REGISTER NOW to be part of this joyful night of tradition, laughter, and community.

For our teens, the Back to Shul experience continues after dinner with our Shul-In Sleepover at the Temple! From games and activities to snacks, movies, and some special surprises – they’ll take over the synagogue – having a blast, making friends, and deepening their Jewish identity.

As we prepare for the year ahead, we remind you that now is the time to renew your 2025-2026 membership commitment and enroll your children in Religious School (which begins Sunday, September 14). This will ensure that everyone receives important membership, security information, and High Holy Day tickets for the exciting year ahead. For any questions, email

Whether you're reconnecting with old friends, meeting new families, or just coming for the challah, this is the moment to celebrate all that makes Temple Judea special. Mark your calendar for these special dates, spread the word, and come Back to Shul with us!
