Season of Thanks

    11.26.24 | Stories

The heart and soul of Temple Judea's success lies in the hands of those who volunteer their time, energy, and expertise without seeking recognition or reward. Whether it’s planning a community event, leading a meaningful discussion, or supporting a new initiative, their efforts are the backbone of everything we do. They are the ones who turn ideas into action, who create spaces for connection and growth, and who help us build a community where everyone feels welcome and supported. As we reflect on  2024, we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to the many lay leaders who make our community what it is today. Each of them plays a pivotal role in ensuring that Temple Judea is a thriving synagogue.

To the Board of Directors, thank you for your stewardship and strategic direction. You navigate the challenges of leadership with integrity and dedication, always keeping the community’s best interests at heart. Your work behind the scenes enables us to remain adaptable, sustainable, and focused on our long-term goals.

To our auxiliary leadership, thank you for your commitment to shaping our community. We are grateful for your leadership and the time you dedicate to ensuring that every member of our community feels welcomed and meaningfully connected. You help bring our shared mission to life, and we’re lucky to have you.

And to all the volunteers—thank you for your incredible work and enthusiasm. Whether you’ve helped deliver challahs to new members, pitched in at Mitzvah Day, worked at the Purim carnival, or lent a hand with any of our committees or events, your contributions ensure that we can offer a rich, vibrant experience for all who call Temple Judea their spiritual home.

We truly wouldn’t be the dynamic, thriving community we are without you—our lay leaders. Your selflessness, your passion, and your hard work are what make Temple Judea such a special place. Whether you’ve served for years or you are new to volunteering, your involvement makes a lasting impact, and we are grateful for every moment you give.

Looking to get more involved in 2025? We’d love to have you! Please reach out to Kim Birbrower, our Director of Engagement, at   to discuss the ways you can actively participate, share your talents, and help guide the community.
