As you heard during the High Holy Days, much of TJ's programming this year will be centered around the theme “Kol Yisrael Zeh B’Zeh” or - All Israel is Responsible for One Another - a theme that signifies the importance of Jews everywhere standing together as one. Nowhere can this sentiment be seen more vibrantly than at the synagogue: a location that has served as a gathering place for Jews throughout the ages. In today’s Judean, we’re excited to share a special video message from Rabbi Aaronson, Click the image above to hear his insights about why it is so important for each of us to step forward and support the synagogue. If you were with us on Yom Kippur, you heard Rabbi Aaronson say that thanks to the generosity of a visionary family, every dollar you contribute can be doubled! To maximize the impact of this matching gift, Temple Judea has set a goal to double this year's High Holy Day Appeal total from last year - and we’re thrilled to report that we’re already 80% of the way there! And, to help us reach our goal, we’re extending the giving deadline to October 31. If you haven’t yet given, please give. Because if we are not for one another - who will be? On behalf of Rabbi Aaronson and the entire clergy, staff, and lay leadership of Temple Judea, thank you for your support as we enter into this new year together.
