High Holy Days @ TJ

What better way to kick off a year dedicated to community and shared responsibility than "Back to Shul" Shabbat? It was a true joy to see so many smiling faces as we embark on this special time of year at Temple Judea. With the High Holy Days just over a month away, we’re thrilled to offer a range of services and events designed to bring our community together for reflection, connection, and renewal. There's something for everyone, from traditional sanctuary services that are intended for adults and children ages 9 and up, to our ever-popular Youth & Family Programming, including Rosh Hashanah @ Camp and the exciting return of our Youth & Family Yom Kippur Experience

We are also excited to share some unique events planned for this year, beginning with our Selichot Program & Service exploring the complexity of intergenerational relationships and reconciliation with Adam Nimoy, son of cultural icon Leonard Nimoy, z'l. On October 4, join your spiritual community for a new approach to the mitzvah of  Tashlich and Shabbat Shuvah. On October 7, in partnership with Temple Ahavat Shalom, we’ll commemorate the first anniversary of the tragic events that changed the world, mourn the lives lost, honor the survivors, and pray for those still in captivity as we stand strong together. Once Yom Kippur concludes, we’ll celebrate in our communal Sukkah with events like WTJ: Sukkot, Sangria, & More, Super Sukkah Shabbat, & SukkotFest! Beers & Brats in the Sukkah. Then, dance and sing as we start the Torah cycle anew at TJ's Simchat Torah service. See the full schedule of events & services here.
