Happy secular New Year! While Temple Judea offices, ECC, and regular Religious School took a break last week, our Winter Camp Sababa crew shifted into high gear for another session rooted in exploring Jewish values. Think paper Midrashim, art, challah baking, Krav Maga moves, and yoga. Plus, a sprinkle of sleepover magic – featuring over-the-top Shabbat vibes, a talent show, movies, and Chanukah lighting! Ask any Sababa Winter camper – last week was a total blast!

2025 is filled with even more Jewish learning and excitement! While our next "powered by" Sababa adventure isn’t until February 22 (for a Tu B'Shevat celebration), there’s plenty of other programming for kids and families. Regular Religious School classes resume Sunday, January 5 and Tuesday, January 7. JTJ classes resume Wednesday, January 8. ECC resumes Monday, January 6, and don't miss Tot Shabbat for our youngest ones on Saturday, January 11 at 9am. Students in grades 4-6 (and their families) are invited to join Shabbat B’Yachad on Friday, January 10 (with 1st-3rd graders on Friday, February 14). And our TJ teens are headed to D.C. for L'Taken, January 30-February 3, for a meaningful weekend of social action!

Kids aren't the only ones who get to have a good time at TJ! TJTribe has a new event coming in February for young singles and couples in their 20-40s. If you, your child, or a friend (member or non-member) are interested in learning more, email  . Plus, with a full schedule of programs from Blingo Bingo with Women of Temple Judea on January 23 to our Artist in Residence experience with Joe Buchanan February 5-8, from Brotherhood Oscars Night to TJVillage events, Purim, Passover, Mitzvah Day, and so much more — we’ve got the whole TJ community covered! It's sure to be an exciting spring filled with joy, connection, and unforgettable moments that we are eager to share with you.

    Happy New Year!
