As if by magic, you can practically see the glow of the Chanukah candles! Or maybe that’s just the lineup of fun festivities this week to celebrate the arrival of the first night of Chanukah on Sunday. TJ has something for everyone; from toddlers to elders, and teens to families, we're aglow with anticipation of the Festival of Lights.
- Wednesday: our Jewish Teen Journeys program welcomes 7th - 12th graders for an evening of latke making and Mario Kart playing! Make sure to reserve your spot !
- Thursday: TJVillage presents a deeper dive into the Chanukah story; join the Zoom presentation to explore why the story of Chanukah has changed over the centuries.
- Friday: welcome Shabbat with a service that includes special performances by our CITs (Cantors in Training) and Pop Up Choir (our youngest singers). Following the service is A Very Magical Chanukah! Join us for dinner and a magic show featuring Joe Skilton, who performs at The Magic Castle and on TV's Masters of Illusion. - Saturday: bring the little ones for our popular Tot Shabbat & Schmooze. This month's event features very special musical guest Jason Mesches!
