Welcome to Judea Teen Journeys (JTJ), the home for Temple Judea’s educational and social programs for students in 7th-12th Grades. As we create opportunities for our dynamic teens, the following ideas govern our work:
- Teens seek out ways to make a positive impact on their world.
- Teens desire opportunities to claim Jewish Tradition as their own.
- Teens aspire to lead and make choices for themselves and their community.
- Teens thrive in community with their peers and build lifelong friendships.
We offer robust programming for teens in formal and informal settings. Whether your teen is interested in Confirmation or our annual trip to Washington, DC, or your teen wants to get involved in leadership through our youth group (JSTY) or our madrichim (teaching assistant) program, we want to meet your teen where they are!
Most of JTJ’s programs occur on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 - 7:30pm.
We offer "A" and "B" Sessions, each with different class offerings. Each class meets once per month. Students can choose one “A” Session and one “B” Session experience.
