Welcoming 2024

Happy secular New Year! While Temple Judea offices, ECC, and regular Religious School took a winter break last week, our Winter Camp Sababa crew shifted into high gear for a session of awesome adventures all about Israel. Think edible maps, Kotel prayers, Krav Maga moves, and a rock-decorating frenzy for our new TJ rock garden. Plus, we dug into Jewish values with a splash of Sababa sleepover magic – featuring over-the-top Shabbat vibes, Israeli dancing, and our very first color war! Ask any Sababa Winter camper – last week was a total blast! TJ’s 2023 ended on a high note, and we're gearing up for a fantastic 2024 filled with even more Jewish learning and off-the-charts fun. There's something for every family as Sunday Religious School and JTJ classes resume on January 7, and we gear up for our next Sababa adventure on March 9 with a Y&F Sababa Saturday: Purim Celebration.
Don’t have a kiddo at home? Fear not! There’s plenty of excitement at Temple Judea in 2024 for seekers of every age! This weekend we'll be hosting our annual Women’s Retreat, and later this month is our Artist in Residence weekend. Then, stay tuned for the continuation of our dynamic Adult Education speaker series, ongoing adult learning programs, our annual Purim carnival on March 24, newly reimagined Passover celebrations in April, Mitzvah Day on May 19, and much more. We can't wait to enjoy a springtime brimming with joy and connection with our Temple Judea community! Let the good times roll!
Happy New Year!
Please note that our schools, including the ECC, will remain closed for winter break this week. The ECC will resume Monday, January 8. Regular Sunday & Tuesday Religious School classes, 7th Grade Tzedek Classes, & JTJ class programs will resume Sunday, January 7.
