YOU MAKE ME FEEL LIKE DANCING...TO JEWISH MUSIC! Last month we had a very entertaining and lively evening with dinner and discussion for Part Two of “What Is Jewish Music: Music of Hollywood.” A very special thank you to Cantor Nathan Lam, who shared his incredible talent, deep wisdom, and hilarious stories.

We’re excited to share with you that Part Three, “What Is Jewish Music: You Turned My Mourning into Dancing,” is happening on Friday, April 17 after Erev Shabbat service, so sign up NOW by clicking here! We’ll be capping the event at 50 people and we’re already halfway full.

Our scholar that evening will be our very own Dor Kaminka — composer, arranger, producer, vocalist, Cantorial Soloist, and more! His expertise in Israeli music comes both professionally and organically, as an Israeli-American who has lived through the Israeli musical journey, and he will share a bit more of his own experiences on this evening.

Join us for “What Is Jewish Music: You Turned My Mourning into Dancing,” honoring Yom HaShoah and Yom Ha’atzmaut. Come learn how the turbulent experience of the Israeli people is reflected in Israeli music over the years and see how Israel processes history through a musical lens.
