It may be hard to believe, but the High Holy Days are just around the corner! You should have already received this year's High Holy Days Postcard and High Holy Days ticket registration email, both packed with all the essential details you’ll need for this year.
This sacred season is one of the most meaningful times of the year for our community. It's a chance to reflect, renew, and reconnect. As always, we have many events planned for all ages!
Our High Holy Days journey begins Friday, September 4 with Selichot: Prepare Your Soul for the High Holy Days, a gathering before Shabbat services for a session exploring the meaning and traditions of Selichot. The following day, there will be a soulful Selichot service in further preparation for the days to come.
On Friday, September 11, we'll gather for Erev Rosh Hashanah to set our intentions for the year ahead, and then celebrate traditional Rosh Hashanah Day services the following day. Families with school-aged children can enjoy a fun-filled educational adventure at Rosh Hashanah at Camp, a beloved experience for kids and parents alike, beginning at 9am at Camp Alonim. 2nd Day Rosh Hashanah Services will be held on the morning of September 13.
On Friday, September 18 we'll focus on community, reflection, and ritual at our Tashlich & Shabbat Shuvah Service, before transitioning into Kol Nidre and our Yom Kippur programing, including Sanctuary services and Yom Kippur Youth & Family Experience (for the younger ones).
Sukkot programs will continue throughout the week in our Sukkah, with multiple events sponsored and hosted by our auxiliaries. Shabbat Sukkot Service will be on Friday, September 25. Then, we'll sing and dance together as we start the Torah cycle anew at Simchat Torah Service on Friday, October 2.
