Calling all music lovers! We’re excited to invite you to Part 2 of our new Dinner & Discovery series, “What Is Jewish Music?” taking place on Friday, February 13 at 7:45pm, following our Erev Shabbat Service. This engaging installment, titled “Jewish Music in Hollywood,” will explore the glittering, complex lens of Jews and Jewish music in Hollywood.

Taught by Cantor Nathan Lam, renowned voice teacher to the stars and a (not so) quiet force behind so many iconic careers, this program weaves history, culture, and personal storytelling to reveal how Jewish musical identity has shaped - and been shaped by - the sound of American film and popular music. Drawing on his unique perspective and deep relationships across the industry, Cantor Lam brings insider insight, musical examples, and unforgettable stories that illuminate the profound impact of Jewish voices on Hollywood’s musical legacy.

Cantor Lam will also join Rabbi Cantor Wissot and our clergy team on the bimah for a dynamic Kabbalat Shabbat service that you will not want to miss.

This intimate Dinner & Discovery experience is limited to 50 participants, so be sure to sign up here and join us for an inspiring night of music, learning, and connection.
