Your Gift, Their Future: The Countdown to Play Begins

“As my family planted for me, so do I plant for my children.” ~The Talmud

This week marks the launch of the final phase of our Play Yard Project — and your support is needed to bring this special space to life. With construction set to begin this summer and a joyful groundbreaking planned for June 5 with our Gesher grads, we are stepping into a moment that will shape our community for years to come. Together, we’re creating a dynamic, safe, imaginative, play yard where our children will grow, discover, and feel the love of the community all around them.

Each morning during drop-off this week, we’re creating space to celebrate, connect, and build excitement. Expect something different each day, from festive touches to morning treats like bagels, mimosas, and themed cookies, and most importantly — a chance to meet with clergy and staff, ask questions, learn more about the project, and discover how your family can participate in this milestone moment.

This isn’t just a Play Yard. It’s a reflection of who we are — a community that shows up for our kids. It’s a chance to invest in the future while honoring the past. When our children step into this space, they’ll know it was built by many hands, with care and love, just for them.

There are meaningful ways to support the Play Yard Project:

    • Make a one-time gift in any amount that feels right for your family.
    • Pledge a sustaining gift of $3,600 or more, spread over time (for example, $100/month for three years).
    • Consider a leadership gift starting at $18,000 that includes a naming opportunity in the new play yard.

This is our l’dor v’dor moment — to shape the future of our synagogue hand in hand, as was done for us.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you this week. Let the countdown to play begin!
