Milestone Moments at Temple Judea
09.09.25 | Stories
If you’ve visited our beautiful Temple Judea campus recently, you’ve likely felt the magnetic energy in the air. With school back in session, the joyful sounds of children’s laughter, our newly transformed Play Yard, and the High Holy Days just around the corner, there is so much to look forward to in the months ahead.
Last Friday, we proudly celebrated the official dedication of the Chris & Greg Cohen Family Play Yard—a true dream turned reality. Rabbi Aaronson, Councilmember Bob Blumenfield, Chris Cohen and family, Temple Judea President, Bill Harris, and ECC Director, Lisa Whitman all shared meaningful words about this milestone moment. It is hard to express in words how deeply grateful we are to everyone whose support, vision, and hard work made this project possible.
Following the dedication, our beloved Back to Shul celebration brought in the largest turnout in Temple Judea’s history! Thanks to TJBrotherhood and Women of Temple Judea, nearly 400 happy bellies were filled with a delicious BBQ dinner and dessert. We then gathered to welcome Erev Shabbat and the joy, community, and spirit of the evening set the perfect tone for the season ahead.
Speaking of looking ahead, we hope you will join us this Saturday, September 13 for a meaningful Seudah Shlishit Selichot. We will gather at 4:30pm for a light nosh, insightful discussion and a chance to connect and reflect. Just a reminder, if you haven't reserved your High Holy Day tickets yet, we will be opening access to non-members later this week. If you have not already secured your tickets, take advantage of your priority access and reserve yours today! Learn More & Reserve Tickets.
Again, thank you for your generosity, spirit, and commitment to Temple Judea. You are the heart of our community, and we can’t wait to celebrate the High Holy Days together.
