Now that the High Holy Days are behind us, we are truly starting anew — a new year of events, excitement, and endless possibilities! Whatever you’re looking to dive into this season, Temple Judea has something just for you.
This Saturday, November 1, we welcome the women of our congregation to join our annual Women’s Retreat, sponsored by WTJ. Enjoy a day filled with movement, laughter, delicious food, music, and connection — all centered around this year’s inspiring theme: The Mitzvah Is Upon Us to Tell Our Story. For the men of our community, TJBrotherhood is hitting the road for a special field trip to the Petersen Automotive Museum on Sunday, November 9 at 9:00 am. Explore one of the world’s largest car collections and get to know your fellow Brotherhood members in an interactive, relaxed setting.
For our music lovers, on Friday, November 14, Rabbi Cantor Alison Wissot kicks off the first session of a three-part series entitled What is Jewish Music? Join us for an evening of discovery and discussion as we explore the sounds that shape our spiritual life. This intimate dinner program promises to be both enlightening and deeply personal. Space is limited to 50 participants, so be sure to reserve your spot!
If you have little ones, there's always fun to be had at our Tot Shabbat & Schmooze! Our next one will be held Saturday, November 8 at 9:00 am with Rabbi Rosenstein! Enjoy a morning filled with music, dance, playtime, and plenty of nosh. Tot Shabbat events are open to the entire community, so bring your friends along for the fun!
Got school-aged children? Winter Sababa is right around the corner. Camp is from December 29-January 2 (with no camp on January 1 and an optional overnight from January 2-3). The learning will continue, plus all the fun! Registration is now open. Enroll by November 15 by emailing .
And that’s just the beginning! From B’tzelem’s Thanksgiving Meal Boxes to our book clubs, Mah Jongg classes and more, Temple Judea’s calendar is bursting with opportunities to connect, celebrate, and grow together.
