As we close the door on this year’s High Holy Day season, we look ahead with excitement to the many moments of connection and inspiration still to come. Temple Judea has so much in store, and we can’t wait for you to be part of it.
What is Temple Judea’s appeal? It depends on who you ask! Whether its having challah and singing Shabbat songs with friends, or it’s the chance to help out and make a difference, there’s one thing that all of our members agree on: Temple Judea is a place to worship joyfully, a place of support and celebration, a place of learning, connecting, giving, and reflecting.
This week, we walk through Aseret Yemei Teshuvah—the Ten Days of Repentance between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. It is a sacred time of reflection, forgiveness, and prayer.
It’s hard to believe that Erev Rosh Hashanah is just around the corner! In just one week, we’ll gather with round challahs and apples dipped in honey—symbols of renewal, sweetness, and endless possibility. And don’t forget the pomegranate seeds! Tradition teaches that the number you eat reflects the good deeds you’ll perform in the year ahead.
