We are thrilled to report this year's Thanksgiving Meal Box program was a huge success! With the help of the Temple Judea community, we raised over $11,000 and we were able to support the Family Rescue Center in Canoga Park, which serves individuals and families across the West San Fernando Valley, by packing and delivering 125 boxed Thanksgiving meals for families in need. Each box contained enough food for an abundant meal for a family of four - including a voucher for a turkey and all the fixings! Thank you for making this project a resounding success again this year!

We not only met our goal - we exceeded it - and we couldn't have done it without the generosity of our wonderful community. We wish to send a very special thank you to the fierce leadership of our project chair, Jennifer Landis, for shopping for all of the food items and organizing the event, TJ Brotherhood for coming in early and assembling all the boxes, and to everyone who donated and helped pack. 

This is a special time of year when we stop, reflect, and give thanks for all we have. Here at Temple Judea we are grateful to all of you for taking the opportunity to give back and allow families of all kinds to experience that same sense of gratitude.
