Teshuvah & Yom Kippur

    10.08.24 | Stories

As we continue moving through the sacred period of Aseret Yemey Teshuvah—the ten days of repentance leading to Yom Kippur—we invite you to embrace this opportunity to connect deeply with the process of teshuvah. Think about the relationships you want to nurture - both personally and spiritually. Perhaps it's time to heal a rift with a parent or sibling, reach out to an estranged friend, or commit to attending a Shabbat service. This is your chance to set meaningful intentions for the year ahead.

At Temple Judea, we offer many ways to engage with the sanctity of Yom Kippur. From our heartfelt Kol Nidre and Yom Kippur Day services to the cherished Youth & Family Yom Kippur Experience, there’s a spiritual journey waiting for everyone. Join Rabbi Aaronson on Yom Kippur afternoon for a deep exploration of repentance. Our Yizkor service will provide a moment to remember and honor those we’ve lost, and during the solemn Neilah service, we’ll unite to close the Days of Awe, longing for the blessing of G’mar chatimah tovah—a good final sealing.

As of this moment, we are at capacity for Kol Nidre and Yom Kippur sanctuary services. If you are a Temple member without a reservation, please email   for assistance and we will be in touch if any seats become available. At this time, we are sold out for non-members and not making any exceptions. If you currently have a reservation, but know your plans have changed or that you no longer need all your reserved tickets, please let us know by emailing  . For those unable to attend in person, we invite you to participate through our online viewing options.
