Journey of Heart: Temple Judea's Solidarity Mission to Israel
02.06.24 | Stories, Articles, Israel
Throughout history, gathering in community has always been at the core of Jewish culture. For Jews in the diaspora, we honor this tradition at the synagogue. When our homeland is under attack, we honor it by supporting Israel and her people. And right now, the best way to support Israel is to visit. For this reason, Rabbi Aaronson will be leading the Temple Judea Solidarity Mission to Israel from March 31 to April 5. This is your invitation to join him.
This mission is not just a physical journey, but a demonstration of the emotional and spiritual connection we share with Israel - particularly in the aftermath of October 7. On this trip, you won’t merely be an observer; you’ll be an active supporter, standing in solidarity at Hostage Square and bearing witness. Together, we will aid communities in their healing process; we will both be comforted by Israelis and offer comfort to Israelis. All aspects of our program will be planned in coordination with security professionals on the ground in Israel to ensure our safety.
Your participation is an investment in the enduring strength of the Jewish community - a powerful expression of love and solidarity echoing through time. In order to make this trip accessible to the largest number of people possible, we have priced it at $2,880 per person, double-occupancy; $3,440 per person single (not including airfare). This includes breakfasts, two dinners, one lunch, all touring, guides and all activities. We can assist you in making arrangements for early arrival and extra days at the end. For those who can stay, Rabbi Aaronson invites you to extend your trip and join him and Rabbi Goor for Shabbat on Friday evening, April 5. Full details can be found using the registration link below.
