Summer is in full swing and Temple Judea has engaging and inspiring musical programs coming right up, starting with two fantastic Judea Bowl concerts!
First, on Sunday, August 18 at 4pm, get ready for a pop-up, open-mic style Broadway concert at Temple Judea! Adults with a passion for musicals can take the stage to sing their favorite Broadway tunes in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Interested in performing? Email to join the lineup. This is your chance to share your musical talents and love for Broadway with the community. Tickets are available here.
Then, on Sunday, September 8 at 4pm, prepare to be inspired by Kol Isha: Women’s Wisdom in Song, a showcase of over 20 extraordinary female cantors from the LA area. This event will celebrate the powerful role of women’s voices in Jewish worship and life. After the concert, enjoy a picnic dinner with friends and community. Don’t miss this unforgettable evening — grab your tickets here.
These musical events promise to be highlights of the summer. But there's even more music on the horizon! If you love to sing and want to be part of something special, consider joining Temple Judea's High Holy Day choir. Whether you're an adult who sang in high school, college, or just have a passion for music, it will be an uplifting experience. With only four rehearsals and one preparatory session for new members, it's a commitment that's easy to fit into your schedule. Meanwhile, for teens, our Cantors in Training (CIT) program and HaZamir International Jewish Teen Choir provide TJ's musically talented teens the chance to connect with Jewish peers through the power of song. To learn more about participating in either choir, email .
We can't wait to share all of this incredible music with you!
