Temple Judea’s Mental Health & Wellness Initiative

As our community confronts the Coronavirus, we are in fact on a narrow bridge, confined to our homes, isolated from our families and friends, with so many questions still unanswered, and so much still unknown.  In these unsettled times, many of us in the Temple Judea community will find it difficult to peer into the future with ‘no fear at all’  - and might be experiencing higher than usual levels of tension, worry and fear. 

For the past weeks, the Senior Leadership of Temple Judea has been working overtime to shift all of our synagogue programming from ‘in-person’ to ‘at-home’ – but there is so much more that goes into our vital role in your spiritual and Jewish lives. That is why we’ve created this hub that will house all of Temple Judea’s mental wellness resources, both during this time of uncertainty, and going forward.  This is the online portal for Temple Judea’s Mental Health & Wellness Initiative ~ The Wellbeing of the Soul.

And please know that it is our priority – in times of crisis and calm -  to support our members’ mental and spiritual wellbeing. We want to know what you're doing, how you are feeling, and how we can help you.  If you know of someone else who would benefit from pastoral contact, please let us know.  Supporting every member of our congregation is central to the work that we do.  

Below is a listing of resources that we’ve begun to assemble which can provide information and content for anyone who might need support in their journey of mental and spiritual wellbeing.  We will continue to add to this list, update our offerings, and cull new and useful resources to support anyone who might need them.
